Application: MOLPROP™ ACET is used as an extraction solvent in suitable food and food-ingredient processing applications. Its high solvency and rapid evaporation make it useful for extracting or separating selected components from plant-derived and other food-related raw materials during processing. It may be used in the preparation of food extracts, natural extracts, flavoring materials and other food ingredients, where acetone is an appropriate processing solvent and its use is permitted by applicable regulations.

11 Nonvolatile residue Not more than 10 mg/kg.
12 Refractive Index Between 1.358 and 1.360 at 20°C.
13 Solubility in water The solution remains clear for at least 30 min.
