3 Solubility It is practically insoluble in water, soluble in fatty oils and in light petroleum, slightly soluble in anhydrous ethanol.
4 Appearance The substance to be examined is clear and not more intensely coloured than reference solution BY6.
5 Acid Value Not more than 0.2.
6 Hydroxyl value Not more than 10.
7 Iodine Value Not more than 1.0.
8 Peroxide value Not more than 1.0.
9 Saponification Value Between 315 to 340
10 Alkaline impurities Not more than 0.15 mL of 0.01 M hydrochloric acid is required to change the colour of the indicator to yellow.
11 Composition of fatty acids Specified test.
12 Water Not more than 0.1%.
13 Total ash Not more than 0.1%.

PACKAGING

MOLPROP™ PGDCC is packed in HDPE drum or IBC packing having Bar-coded label.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preserve in well-closed containers.
